Hi all,

I'm simulating a wind tunnel test for a flow over hydrofoil. After making the mesh, I see mesh elements penetrate the foil with a small hole in the mesh around the foil end. Where is the problem? The foil has a top, bottom and side surfaces. Why the mesh inside the foil not around?

Any guides are welcome.

Ali

If the top and bottom surfaces are very close, the projection algorithm in tetra may get them mixed up. To prevent this, define the top and bottom surfaces as a "thin cut". See the documentation for how to do this.
