how to handel transient data with less file space

hi,

I am running a transient particle simulation. The simulation goes well, but since we want to get particle data every 1.0ms, I have to store the FULL transient result every 1.0ms. The full transient result will also include the particle data. However, full result takes too much space. When I tried to save as "selected variable" (only select fluid flow pressure, velocity), the transient file doen't include particle data anymore. Any way to save particle data while only saving fluid pressure and velocity data?

I also try to save particle track file. The resultant particle file is a huge file. How can I use this file?

Thanks a lot

Hello. I've been asking the same question for years. They don't take any action, probably because no one is asking for it. If you need information at the integration points, you have to write it in full. No other brilliant option, I think. Raise your concern to their support. They should be able to add some function to allow user to choose what to write at the integration points without heavy modification in their code.
