workbench geometry in ICEM
 
Hi all, I want to know whether we can open workbench geometry in ICEM , can we export the geometry to ICEM from workbench, thank you

If you're in WorkBench on the Project Page there is a way to click on the Geometry simply select "Proceed to Advanced Meshing" or something like that. I forget the actual method.

You will need the Advanced CFD tab in Workbench. This is CFX. Of course - you'll need licenses for CFX.

Are you mean that CFX was differ from workbench?

Yes - Workbench is simply a repository/linker for the various codes that Ansys sells: Ansys, Design Modeler, ICEM CFD, CFX, etc. Each of the actual selling products is licensed separately.
