Hello,
I am calculating the transient performance of 1.5-stage (IGV, rotor, stator) axial compressor. For my steady-state cases, I always apply the turbo mode and export numerous radial distributions. This is done using a cse/perl script. Now, I am running unsteady simulations and export for every transient timestep a partial *.trn file. Since my mesh is quite fine and I want to save resources, I only export selected quantities which gives me *.trn and not *full.trn files. Finally, I want to export the same radial distributions as for my steady-state case for all my *.trn in turbo mode. Somehow, this doesn't work. The *.trn file does not get loaded. Is it possible to assess trn-files in turbo mode or do you need a full_trn-file? Of course, all variables, that I want to see in the post processing, I selected in pre. Thank you. |

Hi,
I guess you can check if the radial distribution you want is based on some variables which are not saved in the transient simulation. My experience is: in the Linux system, it reports an error, but in the Windows system, it doesn't work. Sincerely Zhifeng |
