Creating a 2D Mesh using ICEM

Hi, I am new to using ICEM and CFX I have a 2D geometry that I need to solve using CFX 10.0 The ICEM 10.0 User's Manual has no examples of a 2D Mesh generation and subsequent export to CFX. I have read in some of the posts here about using the "Extrude" command. After extruding the existing surface mesh and exporting to CFX I get a warning "The mesh contains a mixture of 2D and 3D elements". What could be the mistake I am making? Can somebody give a step-to-step detail of how to create a 2D mesh. I am familiar with geometry and blocking generation Thanks
