Hi there,

I am pretty new to ANSYS CFX, and I have been using it for my dissertation topic. As such, I have been modelling the smoke plume from a ships exhaust in a crosswind and attempting to get the transient results.

I have been getting the error as in the attached pictures. Unfortunately I have to use OneDrive to store the transient results as i am assigned very limited storage space on the machine from the University.

What is causing this error and is there any way I can fix this?

If not, how can i view the results that have been calculated up until this error happens.

Thanks,

Peter

Have you managed to run a real small calculation (steady state?) on the local hard disk?
Then I can't think of any other reason than One Drive.
If so, tell your supervisor/professor/teacher that this is not going to work.

Running small calculations seems to be fine using OneDrive. It's when I try do a long run with many timesteps that i get the issue.

By any chance, are you monitoring solution data with CFD-Post while the calculation is proceeding?
