Hi,

I have extruded a 2D Hexa Surface Mesh by rotating it about

5 degrees as suggested in one of the manuals.

But I see that the quality of the mesh so extruded is very

poor in the region very close to the vertex of the angle

which is also the center of rotation.

For example, for an extruded mesh of 7000 elements, I see

about 100 elements having a quality between 0-0.05, all of

them immediately next to the vertex

After exporting to CFX, the solution converges, though.

I want to know what can be done to improve the mesh quality

in my case and to what extent mesh quality can alter the

final solution

You cant improve the Q of those elements.
