Anisotropic Thermal Conductivity

Hi,

Recently, I use CFX 10 to simulate the temperature distribution for anisotropic thermal conductivity material. But I can't find any setting tab for anisotropic thermal conductivity.

How do I set the anisotropic thermal conductivity in CFX-Pre ?

Thanks for your kindly help.

Could this be a licensing issue?

Dear Saturn,

Anisotropic Thermal Condcutivity has been a beta feature since CFX-5.7.. It has not been added to CFX-Pre (not even for 11.0); therefore, you cannot set the problem via the GUI.

You must continue working directly with the commands file, and a text editor..

Dear Opaque,

Could you tell me how to use command edit to set the anisotropic thermal conductivity?

Thanks a lot.

Dear Saturn,

Please contact the CFX help desk for the correct CCL parameters for your version, and an example of an anisotropic diffusion case.
