Hi,
I am facing the following error when I try to run turbogrid in my linux machine: /usr/software/TurboGrid-10.0/bin/linux/TGGui_ogl.exe: /usr/software/TurboGrid-10.0/lib/linux/libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_3.3' not found (required by /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6) Warning! CFX-TG exited with return code 1 Can someone help me in this regard? Other CFX suite of software, i.e., CFX-Pre Post and Solver are working fine. Regards, Vik |

This worked for me:
From: http://polymerfem.com/modules.php?na...article&sid=72 Fix: cd /home/CFX-10.0/lib/linux-amd64/ mv libgcc_s.so.1 libgcc_s.so.1.BACKUP |

Hi Joe,
Thanks for your response. I couldn't locate the folder that you have mentioned in your message. I tried to locate a file with a similar name. I found it in /lib folder. Inspite of making the change TG didn't work. Right now I am trying some other things. Meanwhile could you tell me where these files would be located on a Red Hat Linux 3.4 version? Thanks for all the help. Best Regards, Vik |

Hi Joe,
I backupped the files in the CFX library and TG 10.0 library. It doesn't seem to work the new error I am getting is: /usr/software/TurboGrid-10.0/bin/linux/TGGui_ogl.exe: error while loading shared libraries: libgcc_s.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Warning!/usr/software/TurboGrid-10.0/bin/linux/TGGui_ogl.exe: error while loading shared libraries: libgcc_s.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Warning! CFX-TG exited with return code 127 CFX-TG exited with return code 127 I still can't find a solution. Thanking you in anticipation. Best Regards, Vikram |

Odd. All I know is that the fix I posted was due to a recent RHEL 4 bug ... perhaps the fact that you are using 3.x makes my fix irrelvant to your problem. I suggest you contact CFX support directly.
