Anyone have any airfoil results (or sources) they can share?
 

Hi,

A physicist at work asked me about airfoil CFD or experimental results.
Does anyone have any? Or know of any places where I could find some airfoil results which I could open in CFD post?
Sorry, I have never done any airfoils and don't know much about them, as I'm not in the aerospace industry.
I'm not sure exactly what they are looking for, But i believe they are looking for velocity contours from the stationary (not the airfoils) reference frame, So I can convert these if I had any results file.

But I do not know of public domain CFX results. I would choose a nice airfoil (NACA0012 is a good one with zillions of results) and do your own CFX analysis of it, and use the datasets above as a validation that your results are accurate.
