Transients Blade Models, Number of Periods per Run

Hi
I am doing a transient simulation using Transients Blade Models. I read different references and even this website but I didn't find any exact definition for "Number of Periods per Run" in CFX-Pre for Transients Blade Models.

What does this mean? What is "Periods per Run"?

Thanks in advance,

Perhaps the parameter is confusing without context.

The first parameter you to define the time integration is the Time Period, correct?

Then, you define how much you want to discretize that specific period by setting the Number of Timesteps per Period, correct?

Then, you need to set the Time Duration, i.e. how long you want to run your model. The available option is to set the number of periods you want to simulate, and the parameter happens to be named "Number of Periods per Run". It could also have been named "Number of Periods per Analysis" since that is the terminology used at the onset of a simple model. Even further, "Number of Periods per Simulation" could have been another name.

Hope the above helps
