I have completed the calculation of pressure distribution of a THREE-DIMENSIONAL vessel through CFX before, but now I need to intercept a certain segment of the vessel (for example, extract the middle third part of the vessel) and output its pressure distribution. May I ask how to achieve this in CFX-POST?

Create an object which describes the region you want to extract. Then plot the pressure distribution on the object.

Could you please provide a detailed technical process?

I am not going to write a CFD-Post tutorial. Have a look at the CFD-Post documentation and tutorials available from ANSYS.

And it is not that hard anyway. Have a look at the available objects and have a play and you should be able to figure it out.

It is a bit unclear how you want this extracted. But you can create spheres, planes and cylinders within CFD-post. If not you can create surfaces in .stl and import, but this is quite a bit more tedious in my opinion.

Do some search about the Isovolume, Volume Rendering and Iso Clip features in the CFD-Post Help. They are straightforward to create and quite intuitive in CFD-Post, so they should be useful to you. How to use them for your specific problem highly depends on the geometry you are working with, I guess that we can't go further than that without more specific information. Good luck.

Gert-Jan will become famous soon enough
Using step function on coordinates X,Y and Z, it is possible to mark certain regions in CFD-Post.
