how i manupulate my design consideration whith CFD analysis , for example if i an analying temp so how the temp plot affect the design of heat exchanger because we saw only the temp increase or decrease or the heat exchange between to fluid.

Using CFD one can analyse the areas of hot spots,srtesses due to temp,flow through bundle & shell,HT rates,Fluxes,so one can decide on baffle spacing,no of passes etc. To use any code first go through sme basics of CFD,and the codes.A simulation for a heat exchanger could need large computational power as well as time.
