Hexa Meshing with ICEM & CFX

Hello everybody. I have made an hexa pre-mesh of a pipe but I don't know how to continue in order to export it to the CFX. I don't even know how to do the volumetric meshing (if I have to do it). If anyone could help me with this I'll appreciate. Thanks. Bye.

You have to use the right button of your mouse. Just select Pre-Mesh, select the option to create the volume mesh. In your file system you will find a file "hex". Finally you have to convert this to unstructed CFX mesh (a msh-file). You can read this in into Pre.

Once you have your PRE MESH ready:

in the menu in ICEM.

FILE>MESH>LOAD FROM BLOCK

and then go to Output tab... and export the mesh.

Hope it helps. santiago
