Pressurized fluid

1 Attachment(s)
Hi Everyone,

I am new to CFX, and I want to simulate pressurized water through a pipe as shown in the attached figure with a pressure equal to 1000 Psi. At the inlet condition, the water is moving at a mass flow rate of 5 kg/s. How can I have CFX understand that this is a pressurized water at 1000 Psi?

Thank you very much!

Define the reference pressure as 1000psi - or if this model is incompressible fluid then ignore the 1000psi and just add that to your results at the end. This pressure only affects the simulation if the flow is compressible.

The pipe is a simple model with 5 kg/s at the inlet and the outlet is an outlet at 0 relative pressure.
