Condensation of steam in a pipe
i am arijit from india. i am trying to solve the problem of condensation of steam in a pipe. To start with i have taken steam at the inlet and water at the outlet. half the pipe fills with water and half with steam when an unsteady run was done while for a steady state run no water formation was seen. the pipe length is 50mm in which initial steam of 5mm has been initialized. Thermal Phase change model is used for interphase mass transfer. Zero resistance is given to the continuous fluid and Fluid resistance to the dispersed fluid.i will be obliged if someone can give some clue how to go about with this problem so that i can validate the heat transfer.
