Hey I am trying to run a CHT transient Simulation. I have a heat Plate overflowed with a cooler fluid. I trying to generate the heat Flux in the plate with the source option. When I am performing a steady state simulation the heat flux is generated by this option. But for the transient simulation no heat flux is generated.
Does anyone knows what the problem is? |

Would you mind elaborating on what you are doing using more Ansys CFX specific vocabulary?
Heat flux can only be specified as a boundary condition; therefore, you are mixing your modeling approach with the available options. Once you provide more information, I am sure other members can jump in and help you.
