Cfx does not respond when reading ccl
 

I have a relative large ccl file.
CFX does not respond when reading it, however, when forcing it to close and reopening, it shows that everything within the ccl have been read.

What can I do about it?

Where do you import (not read) the ccl? In CFX-Pre?
And when do you do it? Before the mesh import, or after? If so, do you overwrite the existing setup?
And what does the ccl contain exactly? If you have a complicated geometry with a dozens of surfaces, then it might take a while.....

Please be more sepcific.

I upload it to the cfx-pre after mesh import.
However, after several minutes it finally succeeds to reads it.

Seems you just have to be patient or buy a faster computer.

Alternatively, in CFX-standalone, you can
- import the mesh in Pre.
- write a def-file and close Pre.
- open the command line from the CFX-launcher > Tools
- give the following command: cfx5cmds -write -def <file.def> -txt <file.ccl>
- Open the .def-file in Pre.

This is an alternative way of changing the contents of your def-file. Not sure if this is faster. Especially, opening a def file with a ccl-file that does not match completely might give unexpected errors.

If you are experienced in this route and get no errors at all, you don't even have to reopen the .def file, but pass it directly to the solvermanager and start running.

All outside Workbench.

Did you say it took several minutes to load? What is the problem with that? That sounds fine to me, you just need more patience.
