Default stretch in axisymmetric flow

Hi,

I am trying to create a non-uniform stretch in a axisymmetric 2-d flow.

I would like to increase the length scale in the axial direction, while keeping the length scale in the radially direction constant. I know that stretch only works for 3-d cases, but is there another way to perform this function?

thanks,

Justin

Hi,

ICEM or Workbench?

I assume you are talking about a hex mesh. What you are talking about is easily done in Workbench using a sweep and in ICEM-Hexa using blocking.

I am not sure if this helps you, but if you already have a grid, you can also scale this non-uniformly in CFX-Pre. Use something like [10,1,1] to stretch your geometry by a factor of 10 in x-direction.
