I am running a transient simulation using CFX and want to get the data of the exit concentration over time. I don't want to save a lot of result files and then get the data through the post-processing software. Is there a way to save only the last result file of the transient, but also get the exit concentration of each time step

Exit concentration over time:
Define a Monitor Point in CFX-Pre with an expression something like massFlowAve(Stuff.mf)@Exit. The monitor point will be available in Solver Manager as the solution progresses at each time step (or iteration if steady state), and will not require further post processing . Save only last time step: In CFX-Pre for output options, define a Backup and select the option "Delete old files".

The command line cfx5mondata extracts it as well. Look in the CFX documentation for syntax for the command.
