Default maximum size for tetra mesh

Hi all,

I am learning how to use ICEM CFD 11, and have some questions

What is the difference between assigning the value for maximum size in "Mesh size for part" and assigning the value in "Surface mesh setup"? Because I divided my parts also based on the surfaces.

What will happen if I assigned different value for each of those option?

Thanks
