Hi
I am new user in CFX I am working on a model in which there is rotating part I am using General mode. Facing problem to define interface in that. 3 bodys are there 1 Cylinder 2 rotating air domain 3 air domain Plaese help me for that |
Re: how to choose Interface
hi,
I'm doing some rotation simulation too. In CFX pre try tools/turbo mode it will gives you easier way to define interface. |
Re: how to choose Interface
Hi Prateek!
For an interface between rotating and stationary domain,u need two mesh surfaces at the same location. Define frozen rotor & its subsequent parameters as related to your problem. Mesh rot and stationary domains separately, then import and attach them in Pre. And if u r asking abt the location of interface, then its totally case dependent. Try it out yourself. Pankaj. |
Re: how to choose Interface
Hi Amir Jourak, You suggestion is good. I solved the turbo tutorial, given in cfx help. I am confused in domain part in my problem please give me your Personal ID so I can directly contact u. I am briefly explain here my problem I want to give a rotatary motion to a cylinder. for which I made a Cylinder, a rotating domain air outside to it and a air domain. In generalmode I given rotating motion to rotating domain and made cylinder and air domain stationary. In turbo mode what can I do?
