What I have to do, if I want to run CFX-Pre or CFX-Post on Suse Linux 10.2?

Buy a license and just install it.

well sometimes it can not work with not a license from ansys............

they say that you must pay for that..... and i believe so

No seriously, Ioakimidis probably has problems with the graphics. You need to read the manual on what libraries you should have on your system or what options to set for CFX to get CFX-post and pre running. I normally run my simulations on a linux cluster but pre and post is done on a windows desktop.

we also working on linux.... but the pre and post on windows...... if you have only one workstation make 2 disk parts put win on one and linux on the other... make pre with win and run under linux,,,,,

I have Linux 10.2 and ANSYS v10 doesn't work! The pre,post and Solver working properly if you have ANSYS 11. I has nothing to do with Licence!!!I have all licences. I have already solved my problem!Thank you for your help!

This works for 32bit machines for cfx pre and post. I have not,however, been able to get workbench to work yet...

open .bashrc file and add:

export LD_PRELOAD=/lib/libgcc_s.so.1
