FSI using cfx and ansys vs ls dyna or dytran

hello i have a question about FSI , why we all trying to make fsi with coupling like cfx and ansys ,,,, abaqus and fluent or star cd and we are not using dytran or ls dyna???
the coupling offer us somthing that the dytran or ls dyna can not offer us??? best regards hayate |

One of the reasons is maybe because, ANSYS FLOTRAN just gives you basic fluid solving capabilities, and very little mesh control.
I am not even sure, if LS Dyna can do a coupled analysis! So ignore my comment, if it is actually very powerful and i don't know about it. |
