Default Editing current run or definition file.

Hi,

Few more doubts !!!!

1) In CFX-solver>Tools>'Edit Definition File' or 'Edit run in progress' , I see that we can only edit the parameters which appear in GREEN color. The 'Simulation type' ('steady or unsteady state') and 'turbulence models' do not appear in GREEN color and hence can not be changed.

Is there any way out to do that ???? I got an impression from one fluent user that it is possible to do in Fluent.

Thanks a lot for the information,

Best Regards, KM.

Dear KM,

In CFX, only certain parameters can be changed at run time using the CFX-Solver Manager editor. For those that do not appear in GREEN, you must create a new definition file in CFX-Pre and restart your simulation using your previous results.
