Error in prism mesh

I have generated a good quality surface mesh around an aircraft, without errors or warnings. I was trying to create the prism mesh for the BL and I get the same error every time: "Assertion failed: 0, file prism.C, line 5000 This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. (...) Error: prism terminated prematurely"
Does anyone know why this happens? Thanks in advance. Regards, Joao |

Hi,
I assume you are using ICEM? Unfortunately ICEM is not the world's most stable software. Thankfully it has got a LOT better in recent releases, but it is still not bullet-proof. Try doing the same thing a different way, otherwise contact support and report it, it probably is a bug. Glenn Horrocks |
