Hi,everyone, I'm a beginning learner of CFX. I got a problem When I was creating a new simulation in CFX-Pre. After I typed a file name in a working directory and clicked the "save" button, I was prompted an ERROR message as follows, "the supplied file name, temp.00.gtm, can't be opened as a CFX data file. This could be because it has the wrong format or because you don't have write perssions in the requested directory" I'm not sure if it because I dont have a correct license file, since during the Ansys Licensing process when I was installing CFX 10.0, I chose the "ICEM.dat" license file as the required license file. But finally the prompted message showed that the licensing process was successful, and the CFX launcher could be run normally, as well as the CFX-Pre. I would be very thankful to anyone who can help me solve the problem. You can also contact with me through Email if you are interested in it, and my address is wateraction@126.com.

Aloha: Are you sure that you have created the file in the working directory? If it is not, this error may appear. I have got a same problem with you.

Rikioļ¼šThank you for your response.Luckily I got the problem solved today. Actually I did't do anything special, I just turned on my computer, and everything went on very well. I think maybe it because I didn't reboot my computer after installing CFX, while the reboot step is necessary for some configuration changes. I shut down my puter last night and turned it on this morning, I guess what I did happened to have the same function as rebooting, so the problem solved. Thanks again, Rikio.
