How to simulate a closed two phase stirring vessel

Hello everybody,

I want to simulate a closed stirring vessel containing homogenous gas and liquid phases. The problem is steady state with the vessels walls defined as rotating walls. The domain contains an inlet BC perpendicular to the rotational axis in order to get the simulation started.

When using pressure inlet or opening boundary conditions in/outflow through the BC occurs and the circumferential velocity of the gas phase becomes ten times the maximum circumferential velocity of the rotating walls.

Does anybody know how to define a two phase problem in a closed domain?

Thanks in advance

Jo

Same as in open domain. However you have to be careful. I had a similar request to service some month ago. They state that this specific case works as quasi transient only.
