connecting between CFX11 and Fortran compiler.

I have downloaded Fortran95 compiler from Internet. How do I connect between CFX11 and the compiler. How do I set the compiler in my system path??

Hello!

I have the same question. If you write at CFX help release "Fortran, configuring on Windows" it will explain how to set de enviroment for FORTRAN. But I try to do all what it is write with no success... (Note: M.Visual Studio express edition 2005 and M.Platform SDK for Windows server 2003 R2 are for free from Microsoft web).

Does anyone correctly set FORTRAN for ANSYS 11?

Thanks for your help!

Hello!

You need 1)Install fortran compiller ( recommended Intel Fortran 9.0) 2)Write fortran code by template ( ucf_template.F , it's included in distrib) 3)compile library with cfx5mkext script 4)use this library for own calculations

Thanks for your time and help.

I'm not sure what you mean with: 2)Write fortran code by template ( ucf_template.F , it's included in distrib).

Thanks again.

It's mean... you write own procedure and use it by user routines and functions in CFX calculations ( it's defined in CFX GUI)
