Radiation modelling Surface-to-Surface V11

Hi,

I used Surface-to-Surface option for radiation modelling for an air domain in CFX-V11. The solver output file shows that the target coarsening rate is the same number as the number of elements in the air domain and therefore 'number of radiation elements = 1'.

The air domain seems to be replaced by one (volume?) element. What happens with the domain boundary surfaces here. Are these surface elements still refined (i.e. discretised) as for the other (e.g. hydrodynamic) equations?

Any help is very appreciated

OK, I have found an answer from 'opaque' in another thread. Anyway, thanks.
