ERROR IN OPENING CFX POST
 

Hai,

I'm working on a model in Ansys Cfx.Form last two days i'm not able to open the results in POST.I'm getting an error as

ERROR

Error reading file 'D:\Model..\Object_003.res':

Error reading dataset G/COMMANDS

I have nearly 35GB of free space in working drive. Can anyone please help me in this.

My partner and I are trapped in this cage too.It always happened in the post-processing of unteady flow.Would you please describe it more detailly?

Thanks for your responce.

I'm working with a model containing 25laks elements. Previously i used to load results easily and normally.But since 3 days i,m getting this error.Even i'm not able to open ".res"files which i previously used to open.I have freespace of about 35GB,5GB in D & C drives respectively.This error occur wheni try to post process the result.

my model is under steady state condition.

25laks element means? I think freespace is not the key. what about your CPU , memory and graphic card ?

I think he meant 2.5 million elements by "25 laks". I hope it was not a swear word! Anyway i ran my simulation for three days and now i am receiving same error message. I also have plenty of space in my hard disk. Please let me know about it if you figure out how to open up the file in post-processor.

Is your problem run pproperly? if yes then check its output file then go next
