You can give material property and other stuff in AI Environment and from there you can export to ANSYS i guess,

AI Environment can be selected from settings tab -> product -> AI Environment+ cfd utilities.

I hope it will work.

you can give the material property inside the properties tab(create material property 3rd icon) and assign the material property to volume elements using the last icon(define volume element)

coming to the element type, you can give the element type in the output tab in the define BC icon .. define the element type to volume

hope this should solve your problem.... pl let me know if have any issues

thanks rohit, i ve solved my problem and ur suggestions were really helpful for me. i guess from ICEM CFD we cant export the areas and volumes coz after importing to ansys 10 i got only the finite element model it does not have any areas or volumes

Thanks and regards siva.k
