AFAIK CFX's DES model is hard coded with kw SST for the URANS turbulence modelling? Can anyone confirm this? Would it be possible to use the SA one equation model turb model for the URANS turbulence modelling portion instead???

Thanks.

Hi,

Yes, I believe DES in CFX requires the SST model. If you want to do URANS then you can use any turbulence model (including one-equation models) as it is just a transient RANS model.
