Moving mesh in CFX-5

We have CFX-5(older version).I want the mesh movement for my simulation. Is there any way of acheiving mesh movement in CFX-5? I have seen tutorials of mesh movement in CFX-11 version but i can not find any such tutorial in CFX-5 version.

Thanks for reply in advance

Hi,

It was a beta feature in V5 and only fully released in V10. It was also significantly improved in V11 so I recommend you update to the latest version as it is much easier.

The moving mesh capability, like Glenn said, was available as beta starting from CFX 5.7 (CFX 5.7.1 has some patches related to this feature). If you have access to the tutorial manual, I remember there was an example that simulated the moving piston of an I.C. engine through moving mesh.

Give that a try.. Good luck.
