Hi,

Im using CFX mesh to do meshing. How can i set streight line meshing instead of triangle?

There are only tetrahedrons and inflation triangle prisms (for a boundary layer) in CFX-Mesh . You can try to use other methods of WB Mesher (e.g. hexdominant). But for regular structured hexa mesh you should apply ICEM CFD.

Hi,

Gen's answer is not complete. CFX supports tets (4 nodes), pyramids (5 nodes), prisms (6 nodes) and hexas (8 nodes). No other element type is supported.

You can also create hexehedral meshes in Workbench Meshing by using the sweep method. This is most likely what you are looking for.
