Hi,

I am a new user of ANSYS CFX, But an experienced user of ANSYS,

we try to do a frequency response analysis in CFX.

The info I found is very generic about what CFX can do.

I can do a FRF in ANSYS clasic when there is no flow.

But when there is a Flow we have to look at a CFD package

Now the question is can CFX do that?

Guys, APPRECIATE YOUR HELP

Yes CFX can predict pressure fluctuations within CFD domain.

Ok i dont quite understand what you are trying to achieve. What i understood from your post was that you are trying to find an acoustic source to do your frequency response analysis. If this is so, then you need to make your desity function of pressure and CFX would support acoustic analysis. Once you have your pressure fluctuations then you can do your frequency analysis. If thats not what you want then you will have to elaborate your problem more. Hopefully one of more experienced CFD engineers will be able to help.

Hi,

All CFX simulations are done in the time domain.
