well, i'm trying to do bag filter simulation and i'm not able to set up the physics of the process in CFX-Pre, as the geometry has very large no. of bags, so no option to porous media approach(or plz. let me know if any). so with porous media approach i'm wondering about the mass balance of discrete solid phase which get filtered from continuous gas phase.

Hi,

So what is actually the problem? Are you having problems getting something to trap particles for a filter?

hello, thanks for writing.

yaa, problem is how should i take out particles from porous domain as if they are getting filtered. particle mass flow rate is 50% of gas flow, which all get filtered.

thanks.
