Surface roughness

Default Surface roughness

Hi

can we have surface roughness and Yplus cell height which is less than the surface roughness cell height for a No slip wall in CFX,is there any best practices.

Hi,

Numerically it should cause no problems and run fine. Whether it has any physical significance - that is whether it is accurate or not is a matter of debate and probably depends on exactly what you are modelling.
