Reset of initial or boundary condition

I have a question about controlling boundary (or initial)condition. After completing the first transient simulation, I would like to use the result from the first simulation as boundary conditions for the second transient simulation. More specifically, let's assume I do the first transient simulation for 100 sec to see temperature distribution. All system states or conditions (including temperature distribution) at 50 sec during the first simulation is required to use as initial or boundary condition at 0 sec in the next simulation. In this case, how can I save all information at 50 sec in the first simulation and then apply them as initial or bc for the next simulation (at 0 sec)? Please help me. Thank you so much in advance.

Re: Reset of initial or boundary condition

Hi,

Why can't you use a standard initial results file? You specify this is the solver manager (or command line) not CFX-Pre. You can also interpolate on different meshes if the mesh changes.

Your adivce is really helpful. Thank you so much, Glenn.
