Expert parameter to stop the fluid flow simulation
 

Hi,

after completing the single phase transient simulation, I want to use this single phase flow field to track the solid particles. I was thinking to use this single phase flow field in steady state simulation.

I got some nice suggestions 1) to specify the total number of iterations as 0 OR 2) to stop the fluid flow field simulation with the help of expert parameters. http://www.cfd-online.com/Forum/cfx.cgi?read=24937

I am wondering which expert parameter other than 'solve fluids' also should be changed to stop solving the fluid flow field. I am not solving heat transfer.

Hi,

The full list of options available to turn equations solvers off are on pages 429-431 of the CFX Modelling Manual. You will need to turn any of these off (except particles, of course) which you have turned on.
