Periodic flow
 

Hi, I have an unsteady flow. At the inlet , velcoity U=0.2+0.3*sin(100*t) At outlet : opening type

At some times my inlet would be outlet. How should I choose Boundary condition in this case?

Hi,

If you mean that sometimes the flow goes into the domain and sometimes it goes out - that is fine, an inlet with a prescribed velocity should work here.

you can execute it by using inlet boundary, because the 'inlet boundary' does not only means that the fluid flow into the calculating region.
