Regarding isolated fluid region

I would like to run a steady state analysis of flow around a rectangular building(closed cube) and use the result file as an intial value file for a transient analysis of flow around the same building but with an opening for estimation of internal pressure? How to go about it?

The solver gives an error during the steady state analysis citing isolated fluid domains(probably beacuse the domain inside the closed building cube is isolated from the domain outside the building cube but with in the bigger computational domain)? How to tackle this problem? Should I cut out the building cube from the Computational domain in which case I do not think I can use the results of the steady analysis as an initial result file for the transient?

Re: Regarding isolated fluid region

Hi, I am not sure it can help, but there is an expert parameter "check isolated regions". You can set it to the value - "false".
