Hi
could the iteration number (or timestep)reach 1000 or 2000 before to achieve convergence for steady state simulation with 1.000.000 elements (is it normal, because i've read on the CFX help that it would take 50 to 100,200 or i've misunderstood)? |

Hi,
For a steady state simulation with a single phase flow it should only take 100 or 200 iterations at most. If your simulation is taking thousands of iterations the simulation has a set up problem. Glenn Horrocks |
