hi

i am working with tip clearance (in turbomachines) .i used k-eturbulence model. Y+ value is coming around 0-178. i tried to refine the mesh, but showed only a little change in Y+. inlet b.condition is 3atm. Please tell me what is the permissible limit of Y+ value n how i can achieve it

the limit is 30-100 for wall function and ~1 for near wall treatment. are you working on some test case? could you provide me the goemetry so that we can have combined efforts and discussion regards
