Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone knows how I could make an animation out of a steady-state analysis with multiple load steps where the results file of each step are save as backup files.

Also, would you guys have any tips to share to get nice pictures from CFX?

Many thanks, YY

You can load the backup files the same way you load transient results. Just turn off "Ignore duplicate time steps". They will be sorted by iteration count, I believe. Then you can use "Animate time steps" which will loop through the backup files, update the display and save the end result to images or a movie.

Thanks. I'll try that and see how it goes.
