CFX-Boundary conditions

Hello, everyone
I am doing permeability testing in textiles using CFX 10.0. I used TexGen to create unit cell and I also used it for meshing. When I input meshed geometry which is block and yarns inside it and tried to create boundary conditions I got a problem. I cannot separate faces in block so I can create input pressure and output pressure. So I was trying to find another option, maybe to create another surface above my unit cell so I can create boundary conditions there. I still don't know how to do this. If you have any idea, please let me know. I will be very thankful for any reasonable advice. Kind regards, Elena |

i am doing simulation on electro_osmotic flow microchannnel pump using CFX10.0 it is 2D Simulation there is problem to boundary condition- 1)how to give gredient zero for inlet and outlet e.g. velocity gradient du/dx=0,dv/dx=0
pressure gradient dP/dx=0 electric potential d(si)/dx=0 |

I am not sure what the above post has to do with the original question. Please start a new thread rather than highjack.
