two question
Hi
I have two question. 1. Can we create a geometry in Ansys work bench and then export it to ICEM for meshing. 2. CFX has been writen in Fortran. Which fortran version is this and if you want to work on code development where is the best place to start from. Thank you Regards Fernando |
Re: two question
Hi.. For the first question i have answer, Yes you can export AGDB (geometry files) to ICEM by the File>Geometry Import>Workbench . workbench geometry is far easier to import than igs or step.

Re: two question
But when I try to import geometry in ICEM from file - import geometry - workbench reader, it reports an error "Error: part manager failed to attach assembly". Any idea what is wrong here. Thank you

Re: two question
Hi Fernando,
Do one thing, When you creat geometry in workbench. Export it as a parasolid text(x_t). then open your ICEM work environment. Go to import geometry. import it by selecting parasoliid text. Regards Mehul |
