CFX can simulate an axial flow turbines.

There are three different models which allow you to *not* simulate the entire 360 degree machine.

Frozen Rotor and Stage can be used for steady state calculations with a change of pitch or shape. Frozen Rotor gives a ball park approximation at best, stage mixes out the flow going from one component to the next.

Transient Rotor Stator is used for transient and accounts for change of pitch and shape between components.

Hi HekLeR,

In my case, I made a circular domain and the center is not located at the origin. But, the domain is rotating around the origin though it should rotate around the center of the domain.

Can you please tell me the way to change the pivot of rotating domain when I am using the Transient Rotor stator Model?

I think I answered this already. See my other post. Use teh two point option or setup a coordinate frame which is not centered at 0,0,0. Select your custom coordinate frame axis x,y or z (depending which one lines up with the machine axis).
