Multi phase heat exchange simulation.

Hi, Im using CFX to simulate a microchannel heat exchanger (not mems, bigger, 0,5mm channel). It has a fluid that enter in fluid phase and change to vapor in the heating absorving process.

I´m new in the multi phase word. First of all im reading all the documentation that is falling in my hands. Im not sure in the models that i should use, and any suggestion will be very valious for me. Can any one tell me in general lines the setup of the model?

Thanks.

Re: Multi phase heat exchange simulation.

Hello,

You have "Thermal Phase Model" in-built in CFX for setting up "Multi-phase CHT Simulation in Micro-Channels".

In Multi-phase CHT Simulation, You need to two phase data incl. phase change p, T. You have limitation in bubble tracking. Present model will provide you the complete physics in the form of film boiling.

Let me know, if you have further issue.

Rgds, Venkat
