Hi, one of the mesh quality criteria is "Volume change" in ICEM. a value of <2 indicates acceptable value especially when we are using mesh deformation in CFX. I have a problem, i use hex meshing scheme, at a particular adjacent surface, "volume change" value is >2, how do i rectify this problem.

i think changing mesh size of 2 or 3 dimensions will be the solution. it is the same as the expansion ratio that less than 2 is preferred.
